    Hello,

I am very interested in entering the 2019 Dacre Dual Sport Challenge when registration opens but the problem is I am new to the area and don't know anyone that I can enter with. I am looking to perhaps form (or join) a team to enter in the gold category.

-I am 45 years old in better than average shape.
    -Ride a 350 exc-f
-Have raced in a couple of hare scambles and done other rally events in BC
-All of my riding has been in the mountains in BC , and was riding almost every weekend
-I would rate my skill level as competent

    Respectfully,
    Scott

Scott did you find someone to do this with? I was thinking of trying bronze this year. Never done something like this before. I'm 45 and ride a KTM 690 enduro R. I would say I'm no expert. Have been on the street the last 10 years and bought the KTM last spring to get out with my son. This would be a big challenge. I rode around lake superior last year on my Harley but I would say that wouldn't be a good comparison to this event.

Hi. I had never heard of this Dacre event but I'm very interested. Have a DRZ400 and am very experienced 53 year old offroad rider. Thinking Gold or Silver category as difficult and tight conditions are my forte. Have all equipment except GPS. Any other riders out there thinking about this event? John 613-885-6100 for texting.

Gold and Silver are very difficult. I did Silver last year on a Husky 701 Enduro. I'm pretty sure it was the only heavy bike in that class. 300+ lbs bikes are meant for bronze. Silver is good for all the exc's and Gold is meant for the street legal 2 strokes and the like.

Hey Scott and all. I'm 60 and ride a KLR on fairly challenging/technical trails. I've got a place in Madoc (just south of Weslemkoon) and have ridden a number of trails in that area, but don't think I've done the stretch they have in mind between Weslemkoon and Cloyne - though I've been hoping to.
Anyway, I'd certainly keep this in mind, as a bronze rider (due to my bike). I'll keep an eye on this post and - if you're looking for a fellow participant - might be able to jump in.
    Cheers!
    Matt
