Marc, what are the details for the trail ride? Start time? The OO membership is only required for the enduro correct?

    Marc, Doug-

Will there be breakfast available at the hall pre-ride like in 2013?
    Also, when does pre-entry close?

    Thanks,
    Brian

No breakfast this year. The lady that catered in 2013 has left the business. Pre-entry will close noon on Friday 24th.

I beleive that Off-Road Ontario membership is ONLY required for the Enduro, not the Trail Ride.

Those of you planning to stay home, will be missing a good one.

    Fun event with GREAT trails.

You are correct. No membership required for the trail ride.

Course layout allows anyone to take the road back when they've had enough.

We're offering up some virgin trails for your pleasure.

Now when was the last time you rode some of that.

What is the fuel situation for the Trail Ride? Distance between fuel stops? Will there be a fuel truck to haul our containers?

According to DWKs post above, fuel for the trail ride is at local stations, same as 2013. IIRC, distance was about 40-60 Km's between stops. I know it was about 85kms to second gas in 2013.

Finished the route sheet for the course. Trail riders gas will be at 50 kms if they ride everything to that point. From there it is 70 kms back to start. Only need the one gas stop and it will be at a Shell station.

Trails were pretty sweet today! Traction was as good as it gets. Course was well setup & the length was just about right IMO

Thanks to LVDR and all the volunteers!

Agreed! It was great way to kick off my season.

Everyone seemed to have a great ride: the A-riders had smiles and so did the "D-riders". One of the guys we travelled with is a total neophyte on a XT250 and he did everything but that one option Enduro A-Loop and was very happy with how the day went.

    Looking forward to next year.
