    Hey guys,

I'm looking to do a ride with some friends (a couple of guys who are now returning to riding after 15 years off) around the 5 points just north of Bobcaygeon. I was wondering if there were any files, or maps of the area. I have a Garmin Montana 600, but I'm not very good at using it.

    Thanks
    Greg

    Hi Greg-

Not a GPS file, but the KATVA paper maps are pretty good and have all the trails numbers, waypoints and intersections mentioned. They won't have any single track on though.......You can buy them at several local places for $5, I think. Ed Strohak would probably have some GPS files.

I am not sure exactly where 5 points is.... But I have many tracks around that area. I attach a screen shot from BaseCamp. Let me know if you need anything.

Also you might want to get the BRMP for Ontario. It is pretty exhaustive for that area.

    Hi Folks,

Just trying to determine if one can ride dirtbike/dual purpose on an atv clubs trails. For example HATVC or KATVA or AVATVC (Calobogie).

It is not clear anywhere if OFTR membership plus member club membership is sufficient.

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks,

    -mark

OFTR will allow you to access almost all of the KATVA network. There are a couple exceptions.

neilcouture, I may be interested in some of those if you think a R1200GSA could handle it? I'm probably an intermediate rider but now on a R1200GSA. My GF lives around Bobcaygeon so some of this would be awesome to know about.

    Thank you,

I've taken my son there a few times before being a member of anything. Never had any problems. Used to hunt there as well. Unless things have changed, it's crown land.
Some really nice wife trail. Some are used by the trucks and are chewed up but most are good.
