    Hey,
I am In Cambridge and wondering where I can find some dirt but nothing too challenging. I just bought an XR650l and would like to build a little off road experience before I join any rides or groups. also (a little off topic), any suggestions on insurance companies for new riders (M1). $1500/yr seems kinda steep for liability...

    Thanks

Dual Sport or straight dirt ? There are a few that mix gravel roads , fire roads and dirt trail. For straight dirt trails there is not much close by.

Dual Sport, a mix of trails and gravel would be great, as I said I am new to this so that sounds like a great way to start. 8)

We ride most weekends in the summer. Would be glad to take you on a tour. We do anything form a few hours to a whole day for a nice ride or several days to do the real nice stuff. A example of a day trip can be found here

Feel free to PM me for details.

We have friends with a property near Terra Nova. I've often thought of taking the KTM up there and exploring back roads around the area, and up to Collingwood. Looks good.

Of course make sure you check around. Some companies only look at the cc's and anything over 499 is a lot more money.
