Did you sell the 200 and buy a 350? I see your kijiji ad is down, and I ask because my 350 EXC was stolen over two years ago. I replaced it with a 200, my third lifetime, but I have been following both 200 and 350 ads since last fall, because I miss the 350EXC. I also had 2002 and 2005 400EXCs so I have had this dilemma for a long time. Think the answer might be to have both types of bikes.

I'm with you tricky. I had a 200xcw and sold it and replaced it with a 350exc. Wish I had both now.

I just re-posted the ad. Yes I'd love to have both bikes and 10 years ago I did ride enough to justify two but now I'm lucky to get out a few times a season so something street legal would increase the seat time (last two years I rode in April and didn't touch it after that). I cancelled my WV trip so the hours I will get out this year will probably be cut in half. My plan is to get a 350 to give me some off-road capability so that I can go to an OO event or WV and not lose too much skill between now and the time I get back in the game.

Very logical plan. I get it completely. The 350 is a great Hatfield-McCoy bike.
Now somebody buy this bike! A 200 XC-W is a great bike for a lot of riders. It can be raced in OO type races and can really perform on single track forest trail. The light weight reduces a lot of fatigue for riders that are in less than stellar shape, like me. Less likely to hurt you too, when you make a boo-boo.
I only know of the seller from a distance, but I know the bikes very well and its a shame that KTM stopped making them. Grab it before there are no more good ones left.
