SCORRA's annual Midhurst Trail Ride is set for Sunday, May 27th in Simcoe County.

The MTR features an arrowed trail ride with 125+km of single track fun, and trailside lunch. Lots of options to make it as long or as short as you like. Singletrack offroad and Dual Sport/Adventure Bike routes, with lots of options.

If you pre-register for the awesome Midhurst Trail Ride before midnight on Sunday, May 20th, you will entered in a draw for a high-end helmet, courtesy of KLIM, one of our Sponsors! Draw winner will be announced at the Riders Meeting. And by pre-registering you also save ten bucks....which pays for a few nice cold ones after the ride!

Pre-registration and more info is available online here: https://www.scorra.ca/MTR2018_Preregistration.html

Note: This event is for road legal bikes and riders ONLY! Bikes that are not blue plated and road legal will be turned away.

Crews have been busy getting trails in tip top shape for the Midhurst Trail Ride.
We have some fantastic new trail in store for you this year including a just completed 15km section of single track.
Main route is approximately 70km to lunch and gas trailer, and 60km back to the start. Lots of shortcuts so you can shorten things up as time, energy and fuel dictates. And of course a trailside lunch is included.
    ...
Pre registration closes Wednesday, so save yourself a few bucks and sign up now.

Please do not share the GPS file from the Midhurst Trail Ride, there are a number of Private Property sections of the ride that SCORRA has a one day only use agreement with the land owners.

Please feel free to go ride Hendrie, Phelpston, Orr Lake and Horesehoe Valley trails sections however some of the connectors are not available to ride on a regular basis.

    Thanks for your understanding.

By connectors, do you mean the ATV and doubletrack? I ride mostly dualsport. SCF is not a destination for me, rather a through route. Is it okay for OFTR members to ride the marked ATV trails?

He means that there was a number of connector trails used on the Midhurst only. They are not part of the Simcoe cty trails network. Yes you can technically ride sections of the COATV trails with your OFTR membership. As I understand it, the spririt of the agreements is that we use parts of the ATV trails as a transfer between single track. One of the SCORRA execs may be able provide better info on that though.
