    Hello everyone!
I'm planning a trip to moab in August of 2014.
The plan is to ride to moab in 4 or 5 days then spend 3 or 4 days riding the canyonlands national park which would include the white rim trail, Shaffer switchbacks and a few other sites in canyonlands.then head south from moab down into Arizona to the 4 corners then to shiprock and then go north into Colorado using only backroads up into the Rockies and over to pikes peak then head east from there .camping most of the way .I plan the trip for 16 days in totally because that's all the vacation I can get .I'm open to any other suggestions.anyone interested reply to this post or email me at jammer1727@gmail.com

I road white rim (~125 miles) offroad in June on my new KTM 1190 Adv R with side cases. It was my first big adventure ride & it was awesome.
Be sure to bring lots of water & check the water levels with local rangers. We were lucky & had to do 2 water crossings at the end due to the high water levels; highest was knee deep.

I was using Heidinau K60 tires.
Really be mindful of water as I ran out of water years ago when mtn biking in Moab; not fun.
Be sure to check advrider forum for other good info. You might consider "parts" of the kokopelli trail.

Just wondering what the dates for your trip are? Utah is a destination I have always dreamed about. Drove down one year to ski Snowbird and always wanted to go back and explore. I ride a KLR 650
