Because the people who don't want you there , don't want you at all. They don't just want you out of their way , they want you out of the way period. They will not agree to that.

There is another NFAC meeting scheduled for February 26th from 6-9 at the County Courthouse Building. Spectators are welcome to attend but not participate. NTR/OFTR is represented at NFAC by Ken Hoerverman, your Executive Director
    The Corporation of the
    County of Northumberland
    555 Courthouse Road
    Cobourg, ON K9A 5J6

It is important that riders in the area make an effort to attend this meeting. We need people to be visible, just by showing up we are making a statement. I will be attending. If it takes an hour to drive there, just to be seen, it is a good investment in our riding future.

With the shite hitting the fan now.....effectively we ARE being banned from using the trail systems in the forest cause of a few County Staff that just despise us.
Despite the upcoming meeting PLEASE log your comments here
    http://northumberlandcfac.cenet.ca/?sec ... 9a4cbadc0a
Make sure the consultants have a record of your voice there.
The eco's are still spitting out CRAP (read comment 126)
We must sway Counsel and going through the consultants is best IMO for now.
This upcoming meeting will be nothing more than appeasement if run by County Staff.

Make YOUR voice of reason heard by logging a comment to above link ASAP

Otherwise I say sell it all to the gravel compaines

It takes a day or two before comments are posted publicly by the facilitator.

Comment 131 and 132 went up today (one of those yours Bob)

Keep the comments rolling...get your voice heard. All this will likely be in front of Counsel when the time comes and it may come down to Oligvie Oligvie vs county staff. We lose if staff gets there way #-o

Just submitted a comment. Thanks for the link.

The ignorance displayed in of some of the uber-eco-posters is astounding. They should just lobby for building the "Great Wall of Northumberland" around the entire area and ban human access.
