The club will be hosting it's Annual General Meeting on Saturday March 25th, 2017. Like in previous years the event will be held at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale Hotel in Mississauga, North Studio room 3. The AGM will begin at 6:00 pm. Parking is free at the hotel on week ends.

Prior to the AGM, two of our sponsors will generously contribute their time for teaching sessions:

    - Lang's Off Road will host a tech session covering general dirt bike maintenance, tire changes and bleeding brakes; and

    - Rally Connex will host a GPS training session.

The Ontario Federation of Trail Riders will also hold their AGM, earlier the same day in the same venue.

There is room for more executives on our Board Of Directors. If anyone is interested in joining this exclusive group, please let it be known so we can have an election/proclamation. We cold always use more ideas in governing of the club.

Just added to the evening's agenda:
    - Dave Millier of Canada Rides will give a quick presentation on his new venture.
    - Paul Trethewey of the OFTR will give a talk on the state of affairs at the Federation as well as an update on the status of the Weisner lawsuit.

    See you all Saturday!

The AGM came and went yesterday and it was a god day, if maybe a bit long:

We had 30 people attend dual tech sessions: a total of three hours by our friends Rob Lang and Lee Martin. "Thank you both" for a very informative and entertaining afternoon.

20 people stayed for the "formal" part of the AGM. A lot of good information was shared. I would like to thank our lawyer Paul Trethewey who gave us a great run down on the Weisner lawsuit from the start to where we stand today, to a promising future. "Thank you Paul."

Everyone on last year's executive board will remain for this year. They are:
    - Cam Lowe, vice president
    - Kevin Smith, treasurer
    - Neil Edmunds, Site & membership admin
    - Kevin Nicol, Bethany chair
    - Brian Helliwell, conscience and spiritual leader of the ODSC; and
    - Michel Mondou, president

For this coming term, I would like to welcome Don Jasper who volunteered to join the board. There were two vacancies and no opposition to Don joining, so he was acclaimed. Don is a fine fella: he lives in Cambridge and rides a KLR! Sweet...

Also worth thanking are Gord Tyrell who organises the meeting room every year for us and the Hilton Meadowvale who generously donate the meeting room for us year after year.

It's always good to reconnect with club friends after the winter. We also met some new members: See you all on the backroads this summer!

    Michel
