Can anybody provide some information on the condition of the Park to Park Trail after all this rain? My buddy and I were thinking of heading up that way this Wed/Thurs but it sounds like its prone to significant flooding?

We rode it three weeks ago from Walls just east of Sprucedale to Seguin Falls. We went through a lot of water and eventually we had to take the Hwy before we hit the falls. The water got too deep, like gas tank deep.

Can anyone tell me the current conditions on this trail???? It’s been warm for two days in Ottawa and I’m getting excited!

I think it is an OFSC trail in the winter, and while it is in the 'red' on the OFSC trail map there might still be packed snow if it was well groomed.

If it doesn't have any snow on it, I imagine it would be very wet... most of the areas surrounding the trail are swampy areas that don't drain fast. I've never ridden it without there being standing water. I imagine you'd be wasting your time in early March. When I went last year in May it was extremely wet with very deep water.

Edit, the trail is actually off limits until April 1st... from www.parktopark.org:

    • ATV/UTV/Trail Bike use on the trail is seasonal from April 1st to November 30th, opening date may be delayed to after April 1st if trail conditions are not suitable for ATV travel. Snowmobiles use the trail from December 1st to March 31st.
