Once again we will be hosting the hosting the St-Williams Super Sunday, the date is Sept 30th 2018.

The ride will start from the Walsingham town hall at the intersection of Hwy 59 and 6th Concession, south of Langton.
    Coordinates are: N42 40.6 W080 31.6

This is a DS tour of Norfolk County back roads, allowances and some trails suitable for Big dogs on knobby tires. The trail sections can be bypassed.

This is a fun and scenic DS ride for riders of all skill levels.

More details will be published closer to the date.

You can ride around the world with the wr. You will have no problem on this ride as long as you have some riding skills. We try to keep this ride somewhat easy so that all bikes, big or small, can manage the route. I'm not saying it is easy. But it is not a mud fest and we do not tackle extreme difficult terrain.
If it rains a lot prior to the ride the route will be adjusted as necessary. This is a true Dualsport ride with pavement, backroads, double track trails and some wide single track. There are roots, smaller rocks, hard pack and loose sand.
If you come out to the ride and struggle with the terrain then we can direct you to an easier route. This is intended to be an end of season fun ride.

    UPDATE: ride details.

The weather forecast is looking great for the Super Sunday: 15°C and sunny. Perfect Fall riding conditions!

We were unable to reserve the Walsingham community hall for the club, but the ride will still depart from that location. We will use the back of the property to park and stage from. Those trailering your bike, please park at the back near the Quonset hut; the main parking lot will be used by another group that has the hall rented.

Because we don't get to use the hall, there will not be the usual meal & gathering after the ride. Instead we will be eating lunch along the route. There is no GPS file available: just follow the leader, our man Rick from Norfolk County.

The ride is suitable for all street plated & insured bikes.

Sign-in: 9:00 - 9:45 am at the Walsingham Community Hall.
    Ride brief: 9:45 am
Ride start: 10:00 am (please be ready to ride with bikes fuelled up)

Please have a show of hands here so we can have an idea of how many will participate. See you all Sunday!

    Michel

If the ride is the same as it was last year (250-650 class bikes group with more trails sections) I am planning on attending.

If needed, you can always use last years GPS file. Most is the same but there will be some new revisions. But if you get separated for some unknown reason then it will be simple to find the group again. Just jump ahead on the route and wait for us to catch up.

Well that really is hard for us to judge. It depends if they are running somewhat aggressive tires? With the rain we had two days ago I don't expect a lot of mud but it will be slippery. And how much do your friends want to try. It's not a real hard route but there is sand and some first gear corners. Roots and rocks.
Now it is possible to give alternate bypass's when needed once I have more info.
    See you there
