Anyone interested in Sunday rides (smaller bikes) will be heading out from the Bolton area. Exploring up towards Creemore, but also heading west.
Some offroad expected as well as snow/ice/mud depending on route. The route will be made up as we go along, dependent on conditions. PM me if interested.

That way it will warm up a bit, hopefully we won't get a big dumping of snow saturday night. If snow will postpone to next weekend due to the amount of salt they dump Around here.

Basic route will to check out 5th line with alternatives. Gas up in Creemore.

Is 5th somewhat free of ice/snow now? It a pretty shaded area and we have snow in shaded ravines here in Toronto still...

Checked the forecasts for Sunday today. Looks like it will be even colder than forecasted with flurries during the day.

*Please note that the ride is cancelled due to weather :(

Will try again next Sunday, hopefully mother nature will be more cooperative. On the plus side the rain today will help melt the ice/snow

Yes 5th is still ice. It is used by snowmobiles in the winter so it really gets packed. Lots of the road allowances don’t get a lot of sunlight so they are still icy.

Did 250km Sunday. Up through Mono, checked out Baxter , Brentwood, Lauden, wasaga Beach, collingwood, Creemore then headed home. Road allowances and forest roads are still icy. Quads have been through. I’m thinking a week maybe two till things are really ice free. I found a icy gravel road on a north facing hill by Creemore.

    Nice to get out though.

Did the 5th, totally doable. Though you have to be comfortable on the ice sections. Absolutely no front brake and really check your speed before the downhills. Yeah some atvers have been through as well as 4x4's
