Yes yes and yes. Delightful to ride again. be safe out there.
Very nice. However, venture even a bit off the beaten path and it seems as though a snowmobile might be the wiser choice!
Aha!!! The bit i neglected to tell was the bike laying on its side after i suddenly rode onto ice Hehehehehhee.
Lol! As I rolled in, three guys loading atv's onto trucks stopped and looked at me like I had lost my mind, and slow clapped as I puttered past with terror clearly visible on my face.
This is a very familier scene for us preping for the Bethany Spring ride the last couple of years.
I actually shared the trail with snowmobiles two years ago while attemting to preride the route.
Last year there was huge sections of ice on the northern shaded hilsides that were a little nerve rattling to ride down on two wheels!
Note the Bethany is May 3rd this year. I am hoping for less ice and standing water on the trail sections. Looking at making the route longer with more "Good Stuff" this year too.
I am looking forward to helping you guys with the prep this year. Actually just picked up a fake bike hauler today. Cam has promised i can crash at his house as long as i do not snore too loud. Definately in for the delight of the ditches i anticipate ending up in. Bring on the BETHANY!!!!! Ring in the spring!!!!
Rode to Creemore and Wasaga Beach yesterday. No road allowances or trials, just sloppy gravel. Good fun with some ice still on a few North facing shaded hills.
