This section shows its private and I'm locked out.
I just noticed you have me listed as a limited user, but I have a 2016 OFTR membership.
Hardy, have you received your card etc. From OFTR?
You might want to pm Neil Edmunds and find out if the OFTR has sent over your membership. There was an issue with membership processing at the OFTR this year. We thought all the issues were sorted. Perhaps yours slipped through the cracks.
I applied and paid for my membership back in January, but did not receive my membership card and stickers until last month (April).
Do you have ODSC membership Hardy?
OFTR sent the ODSC stickers along with the rest of the package
We'll have our man Neil E look into it...
All fixed up. I did the membership purge over the weekend and missed Hardy's status. He was listed correctly; it was an oversight on my part. Anyone who thinks they are members but now show as limited users should send me a PM (or post here).
I usually do the purge shortly after the AGM, but I delayed it this year due to the switch back to the old processing system at the OFTR. I am getting weekly updates instead of instant emails, so there will be some delay in the process. We have numerous members who don't post on the forum and view it as guests.
I also do not see nothing in that section.
The Tracks and Routes section exists for club members to share GPS files. It is not accessible by limited users. I have no record from the OFTR to indicate that you are a member. If you have joined, ask firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm this.
George has emailed to confirm that neilcouture is an OFTR member but NOT an ODSC member.
This OFTR thing is confusing and useless and borderline misrepresentation... I've been told i could access all other clubs which it does not seems to be the case. What is the point of this organisation if everybody has their own rules, additional fees. etc? So far I do not think I will renew next year.
On top of that its impossible to have the smallest idea of the track available in any of the club "affiliated" to the oftr. I spent countless hours trying to figure it out. How is it possible to make a choice then? A good example of is for instance the Ganaraska forest. I knew the trails. I knew where it was. I knew the rules before paying. I knew what I was paying for.
Would you like to talk about it on the phone? It might be easier to talk than via the forum. I'll be available Wednesday morning if you want to. Let me know via "conversation".
I am a both a OFTR member and a ODSC member, but the Tracks and Routes section still shows private to me.
Can somebody help with this, please
If you need the route for today's ride, it will be available for upload to your GPS at the Start.
Midoio, I have changed your status and will verify your membership tomorrow when I have time to check in more detail. The notifications I get from the OFTR do not include your forum username so it is difficult to match users correctly. On a different subject, some people who register on the forum never answer their phone. Their registration is not processed until I am able to contact them.
I have recently joined the ODSC forum and find it very informative. I also joined the OFTR and have received my sticker in the mail. I recently acquired a 1975 Can am TNT that I am close to having it road legal. I would be very interested in downloading some of the GPS tracks from this site however I am listed as a limiter user even though I have a OFTR membership. Could I be upgraded in order to download GPS tracks?
Halfeye, thanks for posting. Your real name is part of your email address so I could match up your username. You are set correctly as a member now.
