I'm new to this so pls. don't roll your eyes

If my future KLR has a street plate do I then also require a "Trail Plate" to go on public trails in Ont. ? Also I gather that there are special requirements for certain areas i.e. Ganaraska (sp) and of course private property issues.

Is there a FAQ for these kinds of questions?

    Regards,

    KLRed,

    To quickly answer your questions:
If you have a street plate and insurance you do not need a trail plate

As far as the Ganaraska Forest, you do require insurance, either a street or trail plate, and a riding pass which is $20.00 per day or $100.00
per season. I also believe there is a requirement for maximum noise levels, but I am not sure what the maximum db levels are.

Also, at the top of this page, if you put your mouse over the"classified" listing, you will see FAQ.
