Got out for the first ride of the year and ended up dumping the bike in an "easy" water crossing.
Was that Lingham Lake Rd?
Good thing that XR is a tractor and you were able to get back up and running.
You ought to stop riding solo my friend!
Yes, it was Lingham Lake Road. I was somewhat lucky to get the bike going again-I didn't have my full toolkit or even a screwdriver. I did have a wrench to undo the bolt at the bottom of the carb.
All those tool/welding tubes and no tools?
I shouldnt talk though... Left my tool pouch at the truck the other day and got a flat 20K out... Pumped and rode until the tube must have had a wack of pinch flats from deflating, then said ENOUGH and just rode out the last 10k with just the rim lock holing the deflated tire on. Cant believe the rim.was completely intact after that still!!!
Stupidity makes it interesting right?
