Tentatively looking to do a long distance, multi-day dualsport ride this coming weekend. Plan would be to leave Toronto early Saturday morning, taking a dualsport route to my cottage near Gilmour. Saturdays route would go through Orangeville-Creemore-SCF before heading east. Sunday would be a long loop from the cottage. Monday would be the ride back to Toronto, dropping into the east end of the city.

Ride would be ideally suited to WR250-DRZ400-XR650 style bikes with aggressive tires. Sorry no KLR650's or anything bigger.

If there are any long distance dualsporters left who are interested in this ride, send me a PM or email. Ride will be contingent on decent weather.

We rode a bit of that area on the weekend. Great conditions right now! Unfortunately I don't think I can convince my family its a good idea that I am off riding two weekends in a row! Out of curiosity, what will your route look like from SCF to Gilmour?

The route from Orillia would be backroads, some hydro lines near Kinmount, Somerville forest, road allowances, 5 points area, pencil lake road out to hwy 28, then more backroads. It's a route I don't travel much-normally I go out the east end of the city, then Raglan, Ganaraska, Northhumberland etc.
Ontario GS and taylorericjohn like this.

I'm SOOOOOOO late to reply on this one but I'll be up for this in 2019 if you do something like this again. I totally missed out on almost EVERYTHING in 2018 but this year is gonna be different.
