What a wonderful riding area - we had a ton of fun, challenges and hospitality was second to none. Area options and trails were plentiful.

About 1,000kms each way for the truck (the same diesel ran around 10l/100 km over 2,0000km).

Was a cold spell when we went - and had snow in the upper hills pretty much every day.

If you ever thought of heading there to try out Hatfield McCoy trails - I’d highly recommend it!

Let the riding begin! There's nothing like a quick shot south to advance the season. The trails look like they made it through the Winter alright. Where did you guys bivouac?

    Bivouac! Haha

Holiday inn express - Logan WV

Pricey compared to other spots - but great breakfast, safe and right next to a large mall with Walmart , 10 plus places to eat within walking distance, 3 bay car wash, etc.
