Hey Folks....great news, i just bought my 8 year old a drz70. I want to find a place close to the city that is suitable for her to learn....basically a relatively flat field for her to go around in circles....i don;t think i should have to drive all the way to simcoe or the gannny ....anybody know of a good place....i live very central and can access the 400 and 404 easily from my location.....thanks in advance Johnny

Last time I looked (last year) it was all gated off, not accessable anymore.

South west corner of ganny has an open area, then there is the field under the hydrogen line in Northumberland forest... Not that close to TO but all I know of.... Suggest also calling ken at oftr maybe he knows of something

I took my son to an industrial area on a weekend when we first picked up his bike. There are many warehouses that have large greenspaces. I wouldn't do it very often of course, but if its just a place you're looking to get her moving on the bike it might be worth a try.

This is what I did too. It was easy access, close to home in case of any "crash" emergencies, LOL, and there are no other bikes to worry about.
