Here's a suggestion to quickly reduce the size of pics for posting:
After digital pics are downloaded to computer from your camera
Open the pic with 'Paint' (Microsoft)
click 'Image'
choose 'stretch/skew'
enter 40% in the vertical & horizontal (or whatever%age is needed to bring the pic to size, check with 'attributes')
'save' or 'save as' (under 'File' tab)
Post using 'upload attachment' tab under post window:
Click 'browse' button, find file, click 'add the file'
Use preview button to check/verify post with pics
