I checked out the Toronto bike show on Saturday. I spent some time in the BMW /Husqvarna booth talking with the reps. I was told to expect a announcement of a new dealer in the Cambridge / Guelph area in the next 60 to 90 days. It will be an existing bike shop adding the husky line and details are almost finalized. A few shops were named but a final decision has not been made. It will be nice to see the brand move forward. Randy
Not trying to derail this thread but the DI 2 stroke is NOT coming anytime soon according to my contacts at Husqvarna.
I have heard from several people that 2 Wheel is considering taking Husky on. I wish them the best of luck if they decide to.
That is what I was told at the bike show as well. I wish them all the best. For myself I will continue to use Rob Lang as he has gone out of his way to help me with my bikes. Randy
Likewise, I'll stick with Rob, at least for parts/service. AFAIK, I don't think he's planning on dealing new bikes. Although, Scott may still come up with some deals, so I guess we'll see what happens.
I do sell new bikes, I am an authorized Gas Gas & Ossa dealer, and maybe something else soon. I will continue to stock Husky parts at competitive prices. Rob
Wish the new dealer success. I too have had great experiences with Rob Lang for my Husky needs. Regards Rob P.
Ossa eh? Any word when you are getting one of these awesome bike? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... RPEK7KLrLM
I've had it out a couple times in some tight single track to see how it works as a trail bike, and it's a lot of fun! It's street legal in Europe, but not here. Importer is looking into getting it approved, but because it's a 2 stroke, it might be tough. Come check it out at the OFTR booth in January bike show.
