There is gas at the start and there will be gas about 80 Km's and again at about 140 Km's. It should not be a problem and I will be carrying my Roto Pac if needed.
Sounds like we should have a good turnout.

Food prep begins in a day or two....Please keep posting up your attendance expectation. I'm trying to gauge. Guys....this area is beautiful and I know that Rick and Michel will have an excellent ride planned. See you there....Also....hall is likely open at 9am. you are welcome to arrive earlier and unload etc, but hall doors open at 9am. See ya!!!!

I think it's gonna be the gasgas. I took the klr last year and loved the region. it all depends if my son comes this year. If he does he's on a 50cc bike and we will play around in St.Willies double track. Green plate on it for sure....

geez Rick....my memory failing...Art and I just rode the forest last year. It was the preride I was thinking of, which I did last year......See ya this Saturday!!!!!!

Can't make the ride but I'd like to say thanks anyway for all the work you guys put in for this.

Weather forecast is for sunny and 24°C. Fall colours are in full swing in Norfolk County. Let's go riding this coming Saturday :moped:

GasGas it is for me. Haven't been on it...or any bike for a while! Looking forward to this!

Are you riding the Dakar there or trailering the DRZ? I'll be riding DR650 (no knobbies, wide saddlebags = some bypasses), so if you are on the Dakar, stop off at my place and we can ride together.

Because of the early (for me) start time, I usually join the route at the closest point to Burlington then ride the reversed route until I meet, and join, the group and ride the part I missed on the way home.

BTW, the full loop is just under 200Km so based on average speeds from similar rides, this could take 5 hours or so.

Looks like Connie and I will be joining the ride. Bob I will join up with you if you want to set a meeting point. Due to my bee allergy I trust someone < Dual Sport > will suck out the venom if needed. =D>

Hi Bob, I'll take the Dakar. I am riding down with Derek. I'll call you to arrange.

I just saw this and would like to join the ride. I'm not a ODSC member (I'm an OFTR / SCORRA member) I have a BMW 650 XChallenge but no GPS so I'll look to find someone to ride with at the riders meeting. If that's good I'll see you Sat. morning.

I intend to come to this... will try to be there on the DRZ, non-member so I had better remember to bring $20!

Riders with no gps should be able to pair up no prob with other riders. Usually a few groups go out in staggered fashion. Nonmembers are welcome. This ride is intended to introduce non members to the club and other members. We hope you come out and consider joining our club!!!! Less than 24 hours now!
