Hey guys. Just got a bike, looking to do some riding, and I'm looking to get some location of as many trails as I can.
I'm trying to stay away from Vale and Xstrata land. I know there are lots of areas around, but I don't know of any launch points for a nice day ride in the area.
Right now I hit up old 69, but that's all I've checked out so far. Any locations would be appreciated :)

I was doing some riding up there in the Wahnapitae area, and unlike Simcoe county (my normal riding area), there seems to be no drainage anywhere. The trail will be fine for a long time then end in a huge swamp or a water crossing that would drown the bike.

I'm told by the guys who ride locally, you have to ride during the dry times to get through some places.

Right on, if the weather doesn't keep up like this I might take you up on that. Hoping to get at least one more ride in before I call it a season.

14 km training loop at Wavy Lake....mostly home made and could use a few riders to break it in!

Incorporates the existing Gold Mine trail at the end of Long Lake.

I've been meaning to get to that practice loop but summer just vvvvooooooommmmm.....gone.

There's quite a few places north of Sudbury. If you start at Nickel offset north of Chelmsford, that gets you access to Hanmer, Capreol, Wolf Mountain area, all the way to Shinning Tree via poleline.

Keep in mind that Sudbury is snowmobile crazy, so quite a few trails will end in swamp or lake cause in the winter, that doesn't matter.

What bike do you have and is it blue plated?

Saber, Slacker, Smitty we could hook up with Grey Jay in the spring.

Got a sled? I have a good trail system for that too. Wavy to Penage or Killarney highway back woods style. You can keep it open for me till my kids get older!
