Where is the best place to get a Kawasaki Voyageur tuned up near Mississauga? A friend of mine is looking.

There is also Bartz in Mississauga, he usually closes for winter but re-opens in March.

I've only heard good things about Rosey Toes, though I have never been there.

I used Riders' Choice (Dixie & Queensway) when I was living in Mississauga. I've been in Cambridge for two years, using a local shop... I'll be going back to Riders' Choice in a few weeks.

Used to work at Brampton cycle. They have a dyno and do a lot of race bikes. Things may have changed since it was 20yrs ago.

Laird, when your friend makes a decision, could you please post his feedback (if it's positive)?

If you are looking for a 'garage mechanic' type thing rather than a full blown shop, Mikey Moto: http://www.mikeymoto.ca/ does good work for cheap ($20 or $30 balanced tire changes on professional equipment, for example).

There is another garage mechanic who goes by frekeyguy who was briefly on this site but I think is more commonly found on GTAM. Never used him, but he has excellent reviews from those who have.

Both of these guys are in Brampton, I think.

Thanks for the input. I'll ask him if he's taken it in yet and if not will let him know. If he has, I'll ask where and what the experience was.
