    1. How often do you ride your bike?
2-3 days per month during the regular season plus a two week trip down south once a year
    2. Do you usually ride solo or in a group?
    Mostly solo.
    3. What kind of bike/bikes do you ride?
My only bike at the moment is a 2000 XR650R
    4. How would you describe your riding style: Passive, Neutral or Aggressive
Since I ride dualsport I would say passive.
    5. Do you find it difficult to get a group to ride together during the day? At night?
    Sometimes yes.
    6. Would you ride more if you could get a group together more easily?
    Probably
    7. If there were a solution to get a group ride together more easily would you use it?
    Yes
    8. Do you feel safer riding solo or in a group?
I would have to say solo riding is safer. When riding solo I find I take it easy and ride well within my limits. In a group ride there is often a "race" mentality with the attendant hot dogging and showing off. This is what causes accidents.
    9. Have you ever been in a situation where you felt that it would have been safer if you were riding in a group?
Not really. Even is a remote location someone will come by. Sooner or later.
    10. Do you feel it is more beneficial to ride solo or in a group?

Dan, don't let the limited number of responses discourage you. I believe any event is good for the sport. Good luck with whatever you're doing.

How often do you ride your bike?
At last once a week. Some weeks almost every day.
According to my wife, way to much.

Do you ride solo or in a group?
Both. Love riding alone. Totally enjoy riding with friends.
I do have to admit it's difficult to find people to ride with because I seem to fall a lot.

What kind of bikes do you ride?
    KLX 250/350, G 650 Sertao
And anyone else's bike that they are foolish enough to let me ride.

How would you describe your riding style: Passive, Neutral or aggressive?
    Neutral, definitely.
If I ride passive, I don't smile. If I ride aggressive that falling down thing happens.

Do you find it difficult to get a group ride together during the day? The night?
Not really. When I post someone is usually available as long as they know a little bit ahead.
Of course there are people that want to ride with me because they know they are going to get a show.

Would you ride more if you could get a group together more easily?
    No.
I do have to spend some time with my family.

If there were a solution to get a group ride together more easily would you use it?
    Yes.
But I have to do it with an alias because my wife monitors the ODSC site.

Do you feel safer riding solo or riding in a group?
I feel safer in a group when I am in very remote areas or when I crash..
The rest of the time I always feel safe since I don't ride aggressively and when falling over standing still, I don't usualy get hurt.

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt it would have been safer if you were riding in a group?
Yes. But in my defense that farmer did more damage to his fields chasing me than I did. And it would have been nice if he had other targets to go after.

Do you feel it's more beneficial to ride solo or in a group?
A group. It only makes sense that riding in a group is better due to many factors like help when you get stuck, or more ideas and hands to fix mechanical issues. Not to mention the things you can learn watching other riders, older or younger and the mental enhancement that comes with associating with other riders.
Of çourse it's nice to have someone to help you pick up your bike when you fall over standing still.

    Hope that helps Dan.

    1. How often do you ride your bike?
Usually every Sunday afternoon (kind of like the movie "On Any Sunday" :)). Mulmur township has a lot of nice back roads and road allowances, so it's great for quick afternoon rides. If I can get away for longer periods I like to head up to Huntsville or Bancroft areas (just awesome!).

    2. Do you usually ride solo or in a group?
    Mostly solo

    3. What kind of bike/bikes do you ride?
Still got my little Sherpa KL250, its taken me all over Ontario!

    4. How would you describe your riding style: Passive, Neutral or Aggressive?
Mostly passive, but occasionally aggressive if riding very familiar trails.

    5. Do you find it difficult to get a group to ride together during the day? At night?
I'm not really interested in riding with a group.

    6. Would you ride more if you could get a group together more easily?
Would make no difference, I ride whenever I please.

    7. If there were a solution to get a group ride together more easily would you use it?
    No

    8. Do you feel safer riding solo or in a group?
I know everyone tells you its safer to ride in a group, but I prefer to ride solo. I can take my time and enjoy the ride and scenery. Riding with a group usually means riding faster to keep up and also the fact you can't see anything because your eating dust from the riders in front of you tends to make it less appealing.

    9. Have you ever been in a situation where you felt that it would have been safer if you were riding in a group?
Maybe on occasion, but I usually ride within my own comfort zone. Also when riding in the northern areas of Ontario, there is always someone who will come along sooner or later. After all we live in a fairly civilized country and I'm not aware of many guerilla warfare activities going on up north. :D

    10. Do you feel it is more beneficial to ride solo or in a group?
Personally I feel it is more beneficial to ride solo on longer trips because I love the adventure of the ride and also gain a greater appreciation of the areas I ride through. There is also the fact that I can stop whenever or where ever I like knowing that I will not be annoying other riders.

Everything Gorick said, X 2. Sometimes I like to ride alone, sometimes with others. I have a busy family life too, so my riding time is limited, but I wish I could ride more.
