The company in Hamilton is Camco and makes alot of appliance we all know and love  . The Mazda 6 uses the same engine that Ford uses in the Fusion, Taurus, etc. My daughter really wanted a Mazda 2 or 3 but the Fiesta and Focus are essentially the same but without the zoom zoom. But oh no cant be seen in a Fiesta - reeeally Dad.

Years ago I had a Civic and the waterpump went. Go to CT to buy the repacement - didnt even come close to fitting so went to the dealer who had the part, fit like a glove and was cheaper. I'm sure that is not the case in all respects but sometimes it works out. A lot of parts are being brought in from Asia and, from my experieince, some are good, some not so much. Brake rotors for example seem to be a joke these days. Almost every vehicle we have has warped rotors, whether OEM or not (no its not that we are hard on brakes :^o ) so not sure what to do with that except buy the slotted racing rotors for about the price of a reasonable KDX.

No wonder kitchens cost so darn much money - Geez that's a lot of dirt bike money just to match some paint - isn't that the reverse of how it should work? Then again, what do I know....??

Here's my suggestion for guys that are feeling the pressure to renovate the kitchen and spend like $15,000 on fancy new cupboards - put 2 or 3 dishwashers in instead. Way more cost effective, takes up a lot less space & a lot less handling of dishes & utensils etc.

New appliances today sure are crap! I bought a new stove, transferred all the pots and pans from the lower drawer of the old to the new. Used the new drawer a couple times and it got stuck. Pulled out all the pots/pans of the drawer and discovered the drawer track was bent, the mounting brackets were bent and the cheap sheet-metal screws were pulled out and the holes stripped.

I could take it back, but they would just give me an identical replacement. I ended up going to Home Depot, purchased new drawer rails, drilled fresh holes in the soft-cheese frame and bolted them in.

    Junk.

I hear ya on the brake rotors. I've used Brembo rotors on numerous cars from a parts place in Markham for more than a decade. They were crazy cheap for some cars ($25 for fronts on a VW, $50 for bigger Volvo ones) and worked well with no warping problems. But more and more I noticed they rotted real bad after the 1st salty winter. About a yr ago he told me that a lot of Brembo rotors are now asian made he'd had lots of complaints. He suggested Zimmerman's that are made in Germany but a few more $. I've put on 3 sets of fronts on 3 different Volvo's in the last yr and am really happy with them and TRW pads (also German, carbon/composite backing) Rotors are $50 to $75 for huge 13+" ones. Pads are $50. Rotors come coated with some vinc like anti corrosion stuff and are not all oily. You don't even have to clean them off with deadly brake cleaner if you keep your greasy fingers off them. The coating comes off in just a few miles, but its still inside the vents keeping them from rotting so far.
I've found a lot of euro parts are cheaper at the dealer than CT or other places that could also get them.
