Any interest in another Rally Connex GPS seminar?

I have been talking with Lee from Rally Connex about doing a GPS info night in Stratford. Is there any interest from guys in Southern Ontario for such an event. I will supply the space (Remax boardroom) and Rob Lang would be a sponsor.

This one would not be FREE, but I am thinking about $20/person and would include pizza or something for dinner.

Hi everyone. Lets hope we can do this. In the mean time a little more clarity on what the seminar would include. This was a post from the BMA back in February before we did there GPS Seminar.

The seminar will be presented by Lee Martin, the CEO of Rally Connex, who has over 28 years off-road riding and racing experience having most recently completed the 2016 Red Bull Romaniacs Extreme Hard Enduro. Lee has been providing GPS seminars for the past 4 years, notably for the Ontario Dual Sport Club, Twisted Throttle and Dual Sport Plus. The seminar is based on Garmin products (theory is applicable to all brands) and will include the topics below.

• GPS operation basics.
• GPS navigation
• GPS mounts
• Garmin Basecamp
• Routes and tracks
• Multiple scenarios where tracks, routes and maps will be discussed

You are encouraged to bring your own GPS to practice with to get the most out of the session. Lee will bring 10-12 units for those who do not have their own.

Sounds great. I've got a Garmin Montana 610 that I don't quite know how to use properly. No practice.

I would love to attend this session since I have never used a GPS for trail riding, but only for directions on the road. Count me in if it's a go.
