    From the OFTR this morning.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the OFTR would like to take this time to remind all riders that the trails are currently closed in Ontario for OHV use. While the trails would normally open around May 1st, the Ontario government has extended the Declaration of Emergency to May 12, 2020, advising all Canadians to avoid all non-essential travel. “Non-essential” travel includes travel that is considered tourism or recreational in nature. Based on the province’s request, as well as, the closure of many of our riding areas by the landowners and municipal forest, the riding season for OFTR members will be delayed. We appreciate our member’s patience in these trying times. The OFTR will do our very best to keep our members updated as the season progresses. Let’s do our part by staying home.
To be clear, the Declaration of Emergency by the Province does not define nor restrict non-essential travel. Travel on open roads by licensed and insured vehicles is still permissible.

Twoinsane. Not to cause problems though I really don't understand your statement. I am not sure what you are trying to say.

Spent last week at my cottage near Bancroft. The lake was much busier than normal-large numbers of seasonal cottagers seem to be sheltering in place there. There was also a steady parade of ATV's and bikes on the roads. I did the Old Hastings Road a few times. The intersecting trails show obvious signs of use. Looks like it's business as usual.

Glad you were able to ride safe. This lockdown is known to cause self grandour and delusions when there is no outlet. It remains true that there is no cure for this virus and there will be non for some time to come. Life will sure be different moving on.

Yeah, I took a road ride on my Africa Twin through Calabogie area a couple weeks ago. In some of the rural areas I saw TONS of ATV traffic. A veritable parade in one area.

And FYI, Limerick Forest has posted that the trails are open for motorized vehicle use.

The forum has gone very quiet lately, I have a question. Now that everybody is at stage three will any of the organised rides start happening?

Yes the forum is very quiet indeed, the summer months are usually quieter on the forum while people are away on family vacations.
There should be more rides going into September & October.

You can also organize your own ride and post it here, see how much interest there is :)

The Rock Hound is going ahead in August, but like every other outdoor activity, it is in high demand and already sold out.

KAOS....Glad you followed my advise. The fact that you are still here proves it. Like the president stated... We are working to keep everyone safe with a few rides planned. Please hang with us and keep the faith that we will do all we can to ensure we have safe rides organized. Complements of the season and be safe.

    non·sense

    noun
spoken or written words that have no meaning or make no sense.

    Nonsense: Words that are never INTENDED to ensure communication is achieved. {My toffee nosed take}

    Whatever tickles your fancy.

I have simply had enough!!!!!! All the suspicions despite the reality that covid essencially acted as an enforcement agency.... My wife insists that i have been unfaithful!!! please join me in welcoming her to the conspiracy club. I will below list her evidence.

The first picture shows my riding boots...... She suspects the cought me b4 i cleaned the other boot to hide evidence... I insist that i was dabbing more on the other side.. I was simply saving her cat from drowning in our fishpond. Yes i mean the dirty side of the boots. Wake up if you are gonna be helpful.

So..The second pic.... Drew asked me to take a bike to the wash..... No one told me that i had to pay for it b4 i took it for the wash. It is not my fault that i did not feel compelled to return the bike. I believe that if some guy says ENJOY....That was everlasting. Sooo i messed up!!! Big deal.... My offering for a peaceful exsistence was.....Lets us pay the gentleman for the bike and keep it secret from each other. How much more peaceful could i be?

if i was really about me washing the bike... Nobody directed me to a powerwash. I used my instincts and headed for the nearest water.. It was miles away.

Finally this is the most horible teatment. Can anyone tell me the differencr between a 250 and a 125cc? I totally agree with you!! Not anything shows a clear picture. Soo if i come back home with a 230cc thinking it not so far off from the 125cc, How is that wasted? My view is that the kid can wait for his turn...

    1. 20220411_183032.jpg What am i missing? why is my family treating me like i am black? Please help me with some opinions. No good advise will be appreciated.
