I am thinking of buying a new CRF250F....Where could I get the best deal in Ontario? I am in Sudbury area, but might travel for great discount. Any suggestions?

I have a CRF250L, I really like it, but the stock tires aren't good for trail ridding. I was thinking of changing the tires, but I do like to ride the bike on the road also.

Is buying the 250F a waste of money since I am planning to keep the 250L or should I just change the tires on the 250L... I am an ok rider, but more of a beginner on the trails.

I always think that adding more bikes to the stable is the right choice! But in this case seems like it's maybe a bit of a waste. Swap the tires out for something more dirt worthy. If you aren't happy with how they feel on the road and don't want to have to constantly change tires then spend a bit of that money on a second set of wheels.

Tires are way cheaper than new bike + plating + insurance. I ride my KLR mostly on roads, running Dunlop 606s, they last a long time and are good on gravel & trails.

250f is not really at trail bike either. Best to put new tires on the L. The L is a great little bike. A little heavy ...but as a novice, you aren’t going to get yourself in trouble off road.

Thanks everyone. New tires it is! I was thinking the Dunlop 606's.... Any debate on that point?

Changing bikes every few years might be a good idea! How about a KLX250. Now that they’ve added FI, it’s lighter and better suspension than the 250L.
