Saw these 2 at Daytona last week...

1 "Knuckle DS" has tires ready for the sand... but off road is likely in a trailer. Very interesting none the less.

2 "Desmotard" looks ready to go... No helmet needed in FLA, but sure wished I had one (and the key).

The rest were mostly choppers and trikes... some stretched Hayabusa's and pick-up trucks with chrome 24's - a lot of show.

I really went for the Go... Saw James Stewart win the SX, and 2 more green bikes 1 & 2 in the 200. Miguel Duhamel dropped out, it looked like he ran out of fuel??? AMA flat track is pretty awesome entertainment too.

The race events are a great time in general, but I won't be doing that again anytime soon as pre and post race Daytona traffic is horrendous. The beach traffic is worse. Nearest hotels (less than USD$350/night) were 2 hour drive away at Disney, and traffic through Orlando I4 nearly as bad as Daytona. I can't image the Nascar 500 race traffic...

Road traffic (and airport line-ups) remind me why Dual Sport riding is increasingly appealing to me... It's even warming up back here.
