Exc 350 gearing

    those of you with EXC 350s, what are you running for gearing? The 2013 i just picked up has 14/45.

    Looking for something specific for singletrack.

    My 250 EXCF came with 14/49. I dropped to 13 on front and that works pretty good for me on slow stuff.

    Congratulations on finding an EXC350F. Before mine was stolen, I had settled on 13/48 gearing. That was used for trail riding, X-country racing, Hatfield McCoy and the odd back country road ride. I was still considering going to a 49 or 50 rear, when suddenly it didn't matter anymore. Does this mean the X-Trainer/Free Ride question is now moot ?

    Thanks, I have a 48 and will test it out. freeride / xtrainer would be replacement for my wifes 105 she parted with. cheers

    I have 14/50 on mine now. Its a good compromise, but I am going to try 13/50 as most of my riding on the 350 is in the woods.

    Hey , bit late of a reply on this one..but I have 13/52 gearing. Great for trails! Then for more of a DS ride you can just put the 14t.
    My bike came stock with 14/52, 17'350exc. the 13t makes a huge improvement in the lower gears but takes off top end speed.
