    Might be in the market for a KTM freeride or Beta Xtrainer.

    Something that rips singletrack and can be ridden by a short person 5'4" who knows dirtbikes...ie. no Super Sherpas.

    If its for you, you likely don't want the KTM, unless they have changed recently. Brakes were too small and bike was too 'trialsy'. The Beta was much better for your type of trail riding when I compared the two bikes in 2016. Of course my comment assumes that you aren't wanting to switch to trials-type of riding. If so, disregard. No 4-stroke being added to the stable?
