    Hey I was out doing some easy going backroads and road allowances to get some brake in km on the new bike today and ended up in Flesherton. The CP rail trail... It looks like ATVs are allowed....are we?

    IF (big if) that’s the same trail which is part of the OFSC and OFATV trail, then sorry but no bikes allowed. I’ve been stopped in the past by a trail marshal who informed me there’s no agreement made with bike associations the same way that sleds and atvs have an agreement (OFSC & OFATV).

    I live about 200 metres off that trail when it comes through shelburne, so it’s a constant tease.

    Your new bike.... green plate or blue plate?

    Awesome bike, have only heard good things.

    The Blue plate, not sure if that means the trails are more, or less “legal” for you to ride. I don’t know the ins and outs of trail usage well enough. My green plate bike was a HARD NO from the trail martials. But blue plate may expand the rules a little?

    I would say it's a hard no. Generally from my experience if an ATV club say no it's a pretty across the board hard no.

    FYI;

    I just saw that the Dufferin Rooftop Riders has secured an agreement to gain us access to the rail trail. I am not sure if it is a blue plate only access like the Bruce county rail trail but it's gaining new access either way and that's great news!
