After years of the same old same old; and after years of some ODSC members promoting the Husky brand as "best bike ever" and "the Ferrari of dirt bikes" I decided to take the plunge: I bought a brand new Husqvarna. Of course I stayed away from EFI, troublesome fuel pumps and water soluble wiring harnesses. Instead I went with carbureted engine, gravity fuel feed and simple manual start with minimal wiring. I want the thing to be reliable and always ready to go. So far, performance has been good, ergonomics are typically European. Acceleration a little sluggish, I hope it clears up after the engine is broken in. Take a look at the pictures: Michel
Those are STIHL colours? Anyway, glad you didn't get rid of the KLR or buy one of those 630's some guy was thinking of selling. Hey Bruce, how did you know it was fan cooled?
Looks like a make work project.... Better to let the green stuff grow and go ride the bike... Even if it is a gas gas.
