    Bruce, can I bring $20 on the day of ride and register to join? Is OFTR required? I have a KTM 1090 and guessing should be fine for the ride. I will be coming up from KW area and can meet up with you in Guelph.

    Totally good on all fronts. I would recommend that you process the $20 and your membership by reaching out here to Neil. He'll take care of everything and you'll be ready for clear sailing that day. 1090 will be a superbe mount for the day. Good choice.

    I'll put up a schedule for the ride this weekend...one week before. In all likelihood we'll have a rider's meeting at 9:30 and be off shortly thereafter. Good question! Stand by.

    Bruce,
    Planning on joining this ride. Can you estimate at what time you will be at the HW 9 / 2nd Line EHS intersection just East of Orangeville. I would like to join the group there for the Northern partion and head off back to Wiarton at end point. Very approximate will do fine.

    Cheers

    Phil;

    I will try to estimate and if you want to pm me with your cell, I'll try to give you a 1/2 hr warning, if that helps. But, I would say...about 12:00, latest.

    Another tough one to answer! I think we'll be at Flesherton around 4:00...real rough estimate. It depends basically on how much time we spend poking around each mill.

    Thanks in advance to all that contributed...Kevin for the road closure warning, those that pre-rode it with me (Bob), Michel for supporting a crazy idea, and particulary to Mayor Dennis for the hardcore research. You'll all see it tomorrow. It's going to be very refreshing if it rains...cause otherwise it's going to be hot.

    Excellent outing all around. Thanks to Dennis for extra tidbits on the history front. Thanks to everyone for their understanding on a new ride option (yes, the maps were left wanting a bit) and I didn't seem to know where the highest point in So. Ont. was. Can we confirm that it was there and not Bancroft/Algonquin?

    Everybody was back safe and even the FZ09 made it! Great day...after a slight pause for a shower at the Mohawk...then the day was warm and bright.

    The "highest point in So Ontario" is kind of a useless figure. The highest point in all of Ontario is only 693m: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishpatina_Ridge

    Face it, we are flat here. Thanks scraping glaciers. There is a reason most of my rides are to more topographically diverse locations.
