I'm looking to buy/build a folding ramp for bike loading. The bed of my new pickup is much higher- I've found for proper safety and ergos the ramp has to be 9 feet long. I don't want to carry around a 9 ft long 2x10 so looking for something that can fold and be stored above the wheel well when not in use.

A quick internet search did not turn up anything suitable, so looking for advice here.

I have a metal one that folds. It's 4.5 feet tall folded up. So 9 foot total length unfolded. It's 1.5' wide. It can hold like 1,000 lbs. It has a nice lip that rests on the tailgate, and then a nice landing area that rests on the ground.

    It's also

I'm looking to get rid of it for a smaller aluminum one.

    I'm in London, Ontario.

    $60?

What Mezerr has may work for you.
It's probably not what you may want, but I use a couple 2x12 x 8' pressure treated boards for ramps. One for me, one for the bike. Attached some aluminum lips that I got from Amazon.ca & stuck on a few shingles. Non-slip; especially when wet, strong and versatile. Affordable too. They just sit on the bed out of the way during transport, held in place with a ratchet strap. I use them for other things as well.
I have a newer 4x4 fullsize truck and these are more than long enough for the height of the bed.

What type of bike are you loading up?
I use this folding ramp and a milk crate for my 500 all the time to get bike in/out of the truck.

When using it for the 990 - I always find a small hill to back into and load/unload with a friend.

They can be had at Canadian tire sometimes half off (regular $219.99 - each).
