Orangeville / Creemore this Friday or Saturday

Anyone want to ride some of the Creemore route this Friday or Saturday . I ride a WR250r in a relatively cautious manner. Will be doing a lot of the off-road stuff unless a lot of damage from the winter.

I can do this Friday - I may have to ride straight back in the afternoon depending on what time we get there. Hey DR650Dan - good with me if you join - so far the guys going are new to me as well. We'll have to decide meeting place and time.

I may join you guys on Friday too if the weather looks decent. Please post up when you decide when/where you plan on meeting. I'd be trailering over from Kincardine and I'd probably unload at Mono plaza just north of Orangeville on HWY 10.

I've only made it to Hwy 89 on this route so far this year due to time constraints - has anyone done much of the route this year?

Friday’s are tough but if I can swing it i’ll Meet yo guys at the starting point at 930. I’ll watch this thread for any updates

I'm out. Looks like some great riding weather coming up next week. Will probably do an Orangeville/ Creemore ride one day next week.

I'm going to unload at the parking lot across from the SHELL/Tim's at HWY9 and Airport Rd. (old dohnut shop i believe) by 10am, so if anyone is interested i'll see you then.

Will need to be wrapped up by 1-2pm at the latest though. If you are coming please post up so I know to wait for you.

It appeared everyone had given up and I hadn't heard from you at 9pm so I assumed it was off and so I made work commitments last night. Damm - I was looking forward to doing this ride with someone - cannot get out the last minute work commitment.

I'd love to do this ride with someone that knows the route. I ride a WR250R as well. Can only ride weekends though. Is this the best place to watch for when someone is throwing a ride together?

Yes, this is a good spot. The Official Creemore ride is also in the works. There will be some pre riding to do. I would also like reports from anyone who is out riding these roads. I’ve scouted a few roads , seen a few road closed signs and major washouts.
If anyone sees anything notable they can post it here or pm me.
Please don’t post about riding on closed roads, private property or places we don’t legally have access.

I will most likely do the 2016 or 2017 Aggressive route this Sunday. I did 2015 last Sunday. It was quite nice.

Myself and a friend are definitely planning to make the official ride this year. Both of us are pretty pumped to see the riding in this area. I was always a sport bike rider in the past, so the whole offroad dirt type riding is new to me. So far I am loving it, and just need to find more places to explore.

It will be our first time coming out. How does the official ride work? Do you supply GPS tracks and then the goal is to just follow them, or is there groups we can join up with on the day of the ride?
