If anyone knows of a place that rents these, either the two or four seaters - please post it here. I've been dying to rent one for a long weekend of camping and frolicking with my kids and have had zero luck in Ontario (within four hours of Toronto). Thanks
I looked into the guided tours and basically they use more utility side by sides . I am leaning more to the sport side of the market
Me too. No interest in agriculture UTVs - I need to fly. If it doesn't make my kids piss their pants then it's too slow

On one of my trips to Moab I wanted to try rock crawling in a Jeep, and do some fast trails in the new Polaris RZR (which I just saw for this first time a few days earlier on Colorado trails). Availability was no problem - I rented a really nice jacked-up Jeep and did the slickrock Fins 'n Things Trail and it cost $150 for the day. I backed out of renting the RZR when I found they wanted $275 for 1/2 day, and the Jeep was probably worth 3-4 times the RZR back then. I just checked and they still offer them but the prices for either is around $300 for 1/2 day now I actually did get to try a RZR on one of my V-Strom rides to PA - I stopped at a Polaris dealer and they had no problem letting me test one on their private track out back . My brother has offered me his several times. I've never taken it. I really don't want to fix it and I've seen him break axles, tie rods and the entire steering rack. Its not cheap lol.
Yup anything that is 1500 lbs can tear up a lot of parts really quickly especially if you want to pound on it . I'm buying this more for the fact it opens up a lot more riding places .
If you ride any of them the way they look like they should be you are going to be constantly working on it. I bought an older Rzr last summer and I'm constantly breaking the thing. And from everything I've read on them it doesn't matter if it's new or used, it's gonna break if you have fun with it. I looked at new ones but they've gotten larger the last few years so I settled on a 2010 800s. It's main use is plowing the driveway and working the farm but I take it on an occasional ride. I'm not an atv fan cause I figure if I'm going to swing my leg over something it'll have 2 wheels. But it's a totally different experience and feels like driving a VERY capable Jeep.
Just looked at buying a 2017 Kubota RTV-x 1100 with all the bells , heated cab AC, all Hydraulic hook ups 3 cylinder diesel c/w plow $24,474.00 plus taxes. after comparing you can not beat this, and all proven technology. This is more of a work horse than a bush toy. top speed 40 mph. fedge
Yeah that's way more practical then what I'm looking for . I was down at the bike show and they had the new Yamaha yxz1000r ss and after seeing all of them I may hold out and go for one of those It has a few features I really like and always had good luck with my Yamahas . I did take a close look at the new crf450 rx with the kickstand and electric start . Nice looking bike but a slight bit of weight compared to the xcf
Along with the bike I used to have an amazing atv, wanted to do more with the wife so we got her an atv and would ride together. Not as fun as you'd think, and then she flipped it, end over end landing on her. Luckily walked away, she got maybe one more ride in after that then it went for sale. Having a passenger on the back of mine wasn't fun so the only logical option was a SXS. Didnt want Polaris to start due to reliability of an old atv I had. But after much searching and testing I ended up with the RZR 1000S. 60" wheel base, wife loves it I love it. Fastest best handling machine I've ever ridden. Can ride as hard as you want all day and not get fatigued. My buddies on atvs on the other hand are pooped trying to keep up. I've yet to find a trail I couldn't get dow, we put almost 2000km on in within a couple months. I sold my 4 year old atv with 2000km total. If your looking to do an activity with the misses and she approves of a SXS do it. Don't get me started on how awesome it is!
Don't even hesitate. Sxs are far better for getting the family out than ATVs. I've had a 4 seater 900xp Polaris for 4 years and love it. Its far less expensive if you can wrench on it your self btw... And always bring a chainsaw...
Yup ad trust me the used jeep is way more expensive to keep on the road . Full coverage for a 2016 can am maverick priced out at 245 for the year. Jeep was over a grand and when you start seeing the simple things you have to replace on a yj or a tj just to make it even close to reliable offroad its really not worth it .
