I'll be there, bringing one more with me..
Thanks to CAA I managed to finish first today. Made it back to my truck and am headed home.
Thanks for a fun morning anyway. Lunch was pretty good as well.
Thanks Rick for the route and leading for the day. Thanks to Michel for making sure I had a way back to my truck before going on with the group, much appreciated.
P.S. it was a loose ground do to a new part and a missing 5 cent washer, damn.
Well once again we survived the Super Sunday. Well most us. There were a few drops and one nasty rut that never makes for a soft landing on hard clay. Hang in there Jeff. It will only hurt for a few days or a few months.
Otherwise I would have to say that was one of the best S. S. that we have had for quite a few years. The trails were great. It didn't rain all day. And the temperature was decent. We even finished the whole ride.
Cudo's to the guys on the big bikes. Well done today. That was a fairly technical ride for the larger bikes.
We also had a good turnout with twenty riders. Lunch at the TP hotel was superb and the donuts and coffee back at the hall topped it off nicely. Thanks Michel and thanks to everyone else for showing up. It was a good day!
Ps ..... Al, glad to here you made it home ok and that you already figured out the problem.
Great ride, great weather and fun trails. Thanks Rick for leading and Michel for sweeping. Look forward to next year.
Jeff made it home OK in good time and good spirits, got everything checked out and nothing is broken just badly bruised. All good!
Great job Rick, and Michel, as usual. Sorry I had to cut out early. Got back just in time for my hockey game.
Just wanted to thank you for a fantastic ride the scenery, trails and the guys were awesome! It was a great morning ride and lunch was great! Wished I didn't have to bow out early as I was looking forward to the after lunch trails. Could not have asked for a better day. Thanks again for the ride Rick, and Michel for being the sweep.
Was a tonne of fun, and once again learned a lot!
Awesome ride. Thank you Rick and Michel. My body today tells me that it definitely was a good one
The only downer of the day was starting the afternoon trails, we had to wiggle around a new gate to gain access and once on the trails there was new fence being installed. On exiting we went around another unfinished piece of fencing. This has all happened in the last week. I have been riding there since my Honda 50 days. Those trails were there for over 50 years and now they will be gone. I think every Super Sunday has rode through this area and also the Beagle Bash Enduro and trail ride.
That's too major trails systems (one by Tillsonburg and one south of Delhi) that we have used for years and have now been lost forever. The first one due to unruly Quads that went to far and drove on the farmers crops in his fields and the second by another nature saving group.
Oh well. Nothing can be done now. If this keeps up Super Sunday may become a double loop ride. At least the trails we still have are very nice to ride!
Unfortunately it's a sign of the times.
