I saw the previous posting on the top 10 reasons other motorcycling groups don't do the wave and thought I would create one of our own...

10] Too busy fiddling with the fuel petcock looking for reserve
9] Shivering too badly from the side trip through the beaver pond
8] Afraid to let go of the left handgrip in case the duct tape fails
7] Developing a "wobble" in the front end from the collision with the last tree
6] Might be taken as permission for the transport trailer behind us to pass
5] Wiping the June bug debris off our face
4] Cops could interpret it as "Stunting"
3] The BMW and Harley owners don't wave back to a "dirt-biker"
    2] Left hand is broken
    1] Two words.... "arm pump"

    Good ones

    Some more;

    - Too busy playing with the GPS
    - too busy playing with steering stabilizer.
    - hanging on for dear life cause all the sticky wheel weights fell off at last tire change.
    - On a DRZ 400- hanging on for dear life at highway speeds cause they wobble all the time anyways.
    - Too busy trying too catch up with your riding group that all ride waaay faster than they said they would.
    - Too busy cleaning the slop off your goggles after getting roosted by Husaberger or some other clown, or from being on a B. Helliwell ride
    - Too busy hanging on to the left handguard that got knocked loose on your last crash - and you didn't have the stupid little allen key on hand to fix it.
    - Gloves are now so caked with dried mud, you can't open your hand to let go of the grip.
-Too busy fiddling with the roll chart.
-Too busy slapping at that wasp that just flew down the front of your jersey.

wave being interpreted as hand signal
hard to wave when doing wheelie
not too many others to wave at on single track
