Yawny your alive! Teeter totter is going in next week. We have been doing our best to kill the grass on the xr50! How is life in the north?
Life is good! My daughter is finishing her last year at Guelph University online from home. Work work is piling up, hope this little covid critter doesn't screw up the whole darn year! Nice snow conditions for skiing this winter, got out for some nice adventures.
Great looking campsite! Are you still building cabinets on your own? I need to make my way back up to your neck of the woods again soon!
With time on my hands I decided since the xt will be used for cashing my daughter's around I will try to make a baffle to keep it as quiet as possible. I had some scrap 2" cold roll kicking around so I am starting there. I have never made a baffle and to be honest..... don't really know what the heck I am doing! Anyone have any advice? I can't seem to upload pictures but I will once I am done
Think two stroke absorption muffler. Perforated core (like a 3/4" dia. heavy screen) inside an outer tube about 2" OD. Fiberglass strands or fiberglass wool wrapped around the core. A disc at the front and back to support the core.
That is more or less what I was going to go with. I turned an end today. I will add a pipe down the ctr with holes throughout it. I am not sure if I can get any packing into it or not but I have some so u was going to try
