Mohawk Inn - Monthly Meeting 3rd Wed

We'll be meeting next week at the Mohawk Inn. Our usual spot by the fireplace is reserved for ODSC from 6:30pm, and the "meeting" starts at 7pm and goes on until there's no one left - usually after 10pm.

It's quite informal and open to anyone interested in Dual Sport/ADV/Trail riding.

For those of you who know Roland (was Rockin' Rollin on ADV Rider posting his "Fly-and-Ride" report) he's currently riding in Ecuador but promises to be at this meeting to tell us all about the trip . Roland started his Alaska-Tierra Del Fuego Ride just after our Colorado trip (with Thomas) in '99 and has covered all N. and Central America and is now starting on S. America

Hey Bruce I think it’s January 17, that’s the third Wednesday. For sure would be nice to see you guys, I’m in. I think BoB will come if you organize it.

The bike show didn't scratch my itch.

I'll give the old Mohawk a call then and get our table. 7:00 okay with everyone? Wednesday, the 17th. I just realize I have something that will preclude me getting there much before 7:30. I hope you guys go ahead. I'll get there.

I think I may be done with bike RIDING, but I'm still interested in getting together at the Mohawk to talk bikes/destinations/tech stuff/etc.

I'd like for someone else to take over organizing it - which is no more strenuous than phoning in a reservation for "the fireside tables in the bar for 10 people". It's usually anywhere from 4-6 regulars to about 20 when the stars align, but the Mohawk isn't good with variables.

I'm good to go on the 17th and can bring my GPS, Maps, Routes, Tracks, etc for demo/sharing/etc.

Well, it appears it's a "Blue Wednesday Month" (5 instead of 4) so we've got an excuse for another Mohawk get-together

I've booked the usual tables in front of the fireplace in the bar from 6:30pm (until 10ish) but we officially start a 7pm.

Mark your calendar for the regular meetings on February 21 and March 21.

Everyone is welcome - no need to be an ODSC member.
