Well, last week the markets broke down a bit, and led to some much overdue profit taking....this week is starting out much the same. We are actually sitting near some very short term support levels, but if those don't hold, we go a few hundred points lower. here is your rundown....(sorry, is a day late)

Here is the rundown from last week, a couple days late. It's a bit hectic with mkts choppy lately, and of course overnight we have the Koreans lobbing artillery at each other. Mkts don't generally like that. Here is the rundown. Thanks

Well, it was generally a quiet week on the US markets as they had their Thanksgiving holidays and subsequent Black Friday shopping frenzy. Unfortunately the bad news out of Europe, regarding Ireland, is the negative overriding theme and the mkts are currently in a "bad mood". Markets weak. Here is your rundown.

Bank earnings pretty much complete last week, mixed bag to slightly weak. Mkts still managed to tack on some gains. Here is last weeks' rundown. Thanks.

Ok, I know you have all been waiting anxiously for the Weekly Rundown to continue after a couple weeks hiatus. Well, here we go....

I'm hoping to see continued US economic recovery in the first half of this year, to transition from stimulus induced growth to internal growth and strength. Should that occur, we should see year end markets higher than where they are now.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous 2011!

Hi Everyone. A huge amount of turmoil in the middle east today has oil up big and gold tracking higher also. This could be the trigger for a bit of a North American mkt pullback, it's been a while since we've seen much downside. Here's your rundown...

Hi Everyone. Here is some info on market behaviour for last week. We were in a correction prior to the devastating earthquake in Japan. The market is still trying to figure out the long and short term impacts stemming from that horrible event. God bless.

Hi Guys, with markets selling off heavy, a special edition of the rundown has been produced. The risk of nuclear meltdown in Japan has the attention, and fear, of the markets. Adversity can breed opportunity. Good luck.

Here's Friday's Rundown. Volatile week that ended up ok after all. Let's see how this week unfolds with UN intervention in Libya. Take care.

Hi Guys, Here is the weekly update. Sorry for missing a few around the Easter Holiday. I thought this one is of interest as we have a few large Cdn companies reporting this week. A few large gold producers also. Of course the Election, Bin laden and commodities pricing is in the headlines today. Cheers.

Here is the Rundown for last week....a week they referred to as the Mini Flash Crash for the commodities. Extreme volatility last week in metals and energy. Maybe we'll get a rebound this week, but brace yourself for more of the same choppiness. Steve
